From the center to the periphery. We will start from the central square of the city, named after the Union of States: here are the main department stores, hotels and restaurants. You will see a monument to the victory of the United States over Spain, an elegant city hall building and an impressive Public Library. Our route lies past the headquarters of the legendary company Levi Strauss – I’ll tell you how the history of the Gold Rush is associated with jeans, and after the tour we suggest you to visit the museum dedicated to this garment on your own.
Kaleidoscope of areas. We’ll ride through the city’s most diverse neighborhoods: Haight-Ashbury, the birthplace of the hippies, Castro, where LGBT people live, wealthy Sea Cliff and Richmond. We’ll definitely visit the world’s largest Chinatown, where you can visit souvenir shops and experience the atmosphere of “American” China, and visit the Italian Quarter. In addition to a cafe with Italian cuisine, you will find Victorian houses here – and I’ll tell you what is remarkable about the church of Peter and Paul.
San Francisco is full of miracles, and one of them is sea lions, which can easily be found on at Pier 39. Admiring the fauna of the metropolis, take a walk along the chic promenade of the Marina area and reach Park Presidio. Here you will enjoy the untouched flora, stand on the Land’s End, where daylight ends on the American continent, and take a photo overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Also visit the Sutro park with the Sutro Heights Botanical Garden, from where a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean opens.
